Snow's four-point performance helps Panthers beat Marauders in high school hockey action

NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. — 

After losing in the Panther Classic semifinal last Saturday, the Glace Bay Panthers returned to the win column on Thursday.

Logan Snow's four-point performance held lead the Panthers to a 6-4 victory over the Memorial Marauders in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.

Xavier Johnson, Brayden Boutilier and Matthew MacIntosh also scored goals for the Panthers.

Jacob Jessome scored three goals for the Marauders, while Evan Fraser chipped in with a single marker.

Owen Coombes made 14 saves for Glace Bay. Aidan Penny turned aside 18 of 28 shots for Memorial.

Cape Breton High School Hockey resumes on Friday when the Riverview Redmen host the Marauders at 7 p.m. at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.
