The 42nd annual Red Cup Showcase high school hockey tournament will feature a pair of Cape Breton teams in the semifinal games on Sunday.

The host Riverview Redmen (3-0) will play the Northumberland Nighthawks (1-1-1) of Alma, Pictou County, at 8 a.m. Meanwhile, the Glace Bay Panthers (3-0) will face the Dr. J.H. Gillis
Royals (2-1) of Antigonish at 10 a.m.

Riverivew and Northumberland met in the tournament's round robin on Saturday with the Redmen winning the game 2-1 in overtime.

The Panthers and Royals did not play each other in the preliminary round.

The winners of the semifinal contests will play for the Red Cup championship at 1:30 p.m.

All three games at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.
