Logan Snow nets hat trick as Panthers spoil Wildcats high school hockey home opener Wednesday

SYDNEY, N.S. — 

Logan Snow found the back of the net three times to complete the hat trick, leading the Glace Bay Panthers to a 6-2 victory over the Sydney Academy Wildcats in Cape Breton High School Hockey League play at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre on Wednesday.

Snow scored twice in the first period before capping off the three-goal performance with a goal in the third period.

Jarrett Hicks, Jonathan Gallant and Connor MacIntyre also notched goals for the Panthers (1-0-0-0).

Nick Burke and Ryan MacNamara replied with goals for the Wildcats (0-1-0-0).

Darian MacInnis was in goal for the Panthers, while Liam Collings was between the pipes for the Wildcats. Goaltender statistics were not accurately reported on the game sheet.

High school hockey league action resumes on Thursday with the Memorial Marauders hosting the Riverview Ravens at 7 p.m. at the Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.
