NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. - The Memorial Marauders scored early and often in a 10-3 victory over the Sydney Academy Wildcats in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at Emera Centre Northside on Thursday.

Lucas Gracie had a four-point performance, which included a hat trick, while Sam Gracie and Kody Hatcher also had four-point performances with a goal and three assists each. Daniel Young scored twice, while Jesse Ross, Charlie MacMillan and Davis MacInnis chipped in with single markers for the Marauders (4-4-0-0).

Noah White, Kenzie Carew and Riley Crane replied with goals for the Wildcats (1-8-0-0).

Memorial's Jack MacPhee made 14 saves. Sydney Academy's Brody Campbell allowed 10 goals of 29 shots.

High school hockey league action continues on Tuesday with Sydney Academy hosting the Glace Bay Panthers at 7 p.m. at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre.
