C.B. HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: Glace Bay Panthers beat Sydney Academy Wildcats on Tuesday

SYDNEY, N.S. – The Glace Bay Panthers picked up their second straight victory on Tuesday, defeating the Sydney Academy Wildcats 5-1 in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre on Tuesday.

Ty Oliver and Garrett MacIntosh each had a goal and two assists, while Cohen McNeil fired home a pair of goals. Kale MacDonald added single marker for the Panthers (2-1-0-0).

Keagan Corbett had the lone goal for the Wildcats (0-3-0-0).

Glace Bay’s Kristian MacKenzie made 14 saves. Sydney Academy’s Dylan Lesnick stopped 33 of 38 shots.

High school hockey continues on Thursday with the Memorial Marauders hosting the Riverview Ravens at 7:40 p.m. at Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.
