SYDNEY, N.S. - The annual Sydney Academy Blue and White Contractor Cup high school hockey tournament kicked off on Thursday night at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre.

The host Wildcats were defeated 8-2 by the Riverview Ravens while the Glace Bay Panthers downed the Memorial Marauders 6-1. 

The tournament continues on Friday and runs until Sunday in Membertou.
