The Sydney Academy Wildcats picked up a 4-3 shootout victory over the Memorial Marauders in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Emera Centre Northside on Tuesday.

Ethan MacInnis, Dante Basque and Justin Thistle found the back of the net in regulation time for the Wildcats. The shootout winner was not available.

Ian Jenkins, Nolan Ryan and Will Lawless replied with goals for the Marauders.

Liam Collings picked up the win between the pipes for Sydney Academy. Aiden Penny was tagged with the loss for Memorial.

Cape Breton High School Hockey League action resumes on Friday when the Riverview Redmen host the Marauders at 7 p.m. at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.
