MEMBERTOU, N.S. — 

Sam MacKinnon scored three times to lead the Riverview Ravens to an 8-2 victory over the Sydney Academy Wildcats in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre on Wednesday.

Noah MacKinnon, Curtis Novak, Archer Balcom, Liam Brann and Charlie Lantz also scored goals for the Ravens.

Alex Chenhall and Ethan MacInnis replied with goals for the Wildcats.

Riverview's Devon Gallant made 17 saves. Sydney Academy's Liam Collings stopped 31 of 39 shots.

Snow records hat trick in Glace Bay Panthers shutout win over Sydney Academy

GLACE BAY, N.S. — 

Logan Snow found the back of the net three times to help the Glace Bay Panthers blank the Sydney Academy Wildcats 9-0 in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Miners Forum on Sunday.

Adam Hicks scored twice while Tye Clarke, Mitchell MacDonald, Dylan O'Neill and Connor MacIntyre added single markers for the Panthers (13-4-0-0)

 

 

Glace Bay's Owen Coombes stopped at 13 shots he faced. Sydney Academy's Daniel MacGillivary stopped 46 of 55 shots.

With the loss, Sydney Academy's record falls to 1-13-1-0.

COXHEATH, N.S. — 

Noah MacKinnon had a goal and two assists to lead the Riverview Ravens to a 4-1 victory over the Glace Bay Panthers in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre on Friday.

Sam MacKinnon, Curtis Novak and Colby McCarron chipped in with single markers for the Ravens (12-3-0-0)

 

Connor MacIntyre had the lone goal for the Panthers (12-4-0-0).

Riverview's Pat Hinchey posted the win between the pipes. Glace Bay's Darian MacInnis was tagged with the loss. Statistics were not available.

Cape Breton High School Hockey League action resumes on Sunday when Glace Bay hosts the Sydney Academy Wildcats at 7 p.m. at Miners Forum in Glace Bay.

O'Neill scores overtime winner to lift Glace Bay Panthers past Memorial Marauders Thursday

Dylan O'Neill's goal at 4:14 of overtime powered the Glace Bay Panthers to a 4-3 victory over the Memorial Marauders in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney on Thursday.

Jonathan Gallant scored twice while Brady Doucette added a single marker for the Panthers (12-3-0-0).

 

Kenzie MacMullin, Noah MacLeod and Ian Jenkins replied with goals for the Marauders (5-6-4-0).Glace Bay's Owen Coombes stopped 14 of 17 shots. Memorial's Aidan Penny turned aside 17 of 21 shots.


Cape Breton High School Hockey League action resumes on Friday when Riverview hosts Glace Bay at 8 p.m. at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.

Memorial Marauders blank Sydney Academy Wildcats in high school hockey Wednesday

Sam Brown had a goal and an assist in the Memorial Marauders 3-0 win over the Sydney Academy Wildcats in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre Wednesday.

 

Will Lawless and Ian Jenkins also scored goals for the Marauders (5-6-3-0), who fired 60 shots on goal during the game.With the loss, Sydney Academy’s record falls to 1-12-1-0.

Memorial’s Aiden Penny made 24 saves. Sydney Academy’s Liam Collings stopped 57 of 60 shots.

Cape Breton High School Hockey League action resumes on Thursday with the Marauders hosting the Glace Bay Panthers at 7 p.m. at Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.

Doucette nets winner as Panthers edge Ravens Sunday

Brady Doucette's goal at 9:45 of the third period proved to be the game-winner as the Glace Bay Panthers edged the Riverview Ravens 3-2 in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Miners Forum on Sunday.

 

Adam Hicks and Jarrett Hicks also scored goals for the Panthers (11-3-0-0).

Bryce MacKenzie and Sam MacKinnon replied with goals for the Ravens (11-3-0-0).

Glace Bay's Darian MacInnis made 36 saves. Riverview's Patrick Hinchey turned aside 23 of 26 shots.
